Families food and fun sessions

We have had a busy 2 weeks getting ready for the delivery of Families, Food and Fun sessions and it has been a great start – circus tricks, trips to cricket and working with a great bunch of NCS young people to make slime and do some face painting. The NCS group also helped to spruce up the building by painting it white and helping at the community allotment. At the sessions we have been serving delicious food and snacks to around 35 children a day and we have had some really great compliments.
At the same time we have been moving forward with the last part of the Blooming Scholemoor project and have had Liam here with his mini digger to create a path through the woods. There is still a bit more to do and if any one wants to help with some physical work in the woods please speak to Matt on 01274 522231. Due to all this work and limited demand we have decided to postpone the Annual Charity Football tournament – we hope to do something in September and thanks to those teams that were interested. We hope that you are all enjoying the weather.
